Weather Protection WP40 for 1/2" Microphones

The WP40 is a weather-protection solution for our 1/2" Class 1 microphones. It allows acquisition of environmental noise data while keeping your microphone safe. The corrosion-free polymer housing, wind screen, water repellent membrane and bird spike provide excellent protection from rain, wind, dust and birds.

The WP40 fits around our Class 1 microphones to maintain Class 1 requirements according to IEC 61672 and ANSI S1.4 for horizontal and vertical sound incidence, and screws on to a standard tripod mount.

When using the WP40, remember to select it in the system settings of your XL2 or XL3 to activate spectral correction.
